Ministries
A place to grow. A place to serve.
KLCs
Jesus cares about us, He cares about our neighborhoods, and He wants us to take care of each other. Kingdom Life Communities (KLCs) are for you when you want to be like Jesus and you don't want to do it alone – because, frankly, we can’t do it alone.
Huddles
Discipleship works best with a small group of people committed to a deeper relationship with Jesus. Huddles explore the five ministries of Jesus as outlined in Ephesians 4:11 (apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors/shepherds, and teachers), discovering together how each person is gifted and called to serve God’s church.
Courses
Usually beginning in January, April, and September, SCC offers study courses to expand our knowledge and experience as Christians. Previous offerings include “Days of the Kingdom” (based on Pastor Eric’s book, Jesus’ Big Idea), “Missing Jesus,” “Financial Peace University,” and “The Marriage Course.”
Kids
Kids aren’t “Christians-in-waiting,” but full-fledged members of God’s kingdom! In SC Kids, infants through 6th graders learn about God’s love for them and what it means to live for Jesus – and parents are encouraged and equipped to be the spiritual leaders at home.
Youth
Sacred friendships and restorative faith are just as important for SC Youth as they are for the rest of the church. Through midweek meetings (Middle School on Wednesdays and High School on Thursdays) and Sunday worship with the rest of the congregation, our middle and high school students experience the love of God through the power and presence of the Holy Spirit – while also having fun! Worship Arts
Through song, we encounter God’s presence and hear His loving voice. We express gratitude in praise and worship to God. We spur each another on toward lives of service and faithfulness, contending against the powers that seek to destroy, mourning together in times of mourning, and celebrating together in times of celebration. So much happens when the church sings! We’re always looking for more vocalists, instrumentalists, sound engineers, videographers and anyone willing to learn!
Mission Connect
The mission and vision of SCC goes far beyond the walls of our church! We commit our time, talent, and treasure to bring heaven to earth by offering local services, organizing short-term mission trips, and lending support to missionaries around the world. Watch this short video about our Mission Connect team.
Prayer & Healing
Ongoing prayer releases God's power to manifest His vision across all ministry areas. As part of that vision, we believe that SCC is called to be a house of prayer – and through this, God will work great things!
SCC also offers Sozo Prayer Ministry, a unique healing and deliverance ministry named after the Greek word for “saved, healed, and delivered.” Our trained Sozo leaders will guide you to awareness of and healing for anything that blocks you from receiving all that God has for you.
Bible Studies
Growth as a disciple of Jesus means regular study of the word with our fellow believers – in an environment that’s safe for discussion and questions! SCC hosts regular Bible studies throughout the week, each with a different focus and intention.
Celebrate Recovery
Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered, 12-step recovery program for anyone struggling with hurt, pain, or addiction of any kind. CR is a safe place to find community and freedom from the issues that can control our lives.
Tuesdays at 6pm
Care Ministries
We care deeply about meeting the needs of our church family, from providing a ride or a simple meal to walking with our brothers and sisters through life’s greatest challenges. Contact SCC’s Care Ministries to volunteer or to let us know if you have a need! Watch this short video about Care Ministries.
Marriage Partners
Marriage is one of the most important relationships we can have – so shouldn’t it be one of the healthiest? The Marriage Partners ministry is a chance for you and your spouse to build an ongoing relationship with another couple who cares deeply about healthy marriages. With two-on-two counsel and support, you will be equipped with the insight and tools you need to take your marriage from good (or wherever it stands today) to great.
