Xavier Montañez joined the SCC staff as Director of Worship Arts in 2026. Raised in Miami, Florida, Xavier was first drawn to worship ministry after a powerful encounter at a youth rally. He earned a degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Miami and later studied worship leadership at Forerunner Music Academy in Kansas City.

Xavier is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, producer, and lifelong student who loves going deeper into music, worship, and Scripture. He authored The Scroll of Yeshayahu, a study of the Prophet Isaiah that explores the historical, Messianic, and prophetic dimensions of his writings.

Xavier and his wife, Bridgit, moved to Colorado Springs in 2018 and quickly fell in love with the city and the surrounding mountains. He enjoys exploring creative expressions of the Kingdom through music, dance, film, and the performing arts. When he is not creating something, he can usually be found hiking with Bridgit, spending time with their three Labradors, or trying to convince himself that three Labradors are not too many.
